Vintage Rarities Mint 1989 Limited Edition Star Trek The Original Series Commemorative Silver Coin – Lieutenant Uhura – Shop Stock Room Find. Released by Rarities Mint in 1989 as part of a series of 7 Silver Coins featuring iconic characters from The Original Series. This fantastic Star Trek The Original Series Commemorative Silver Coin. Contains 1 troy ounce of 99.9 silver, and is struck in accordance to proof condition. The reverse design features the U. Enterprise, sculpted by Karen Worth, and the inscription: “Where no man has gone before”, and on the front side features an image of Lieutenant Uhura at her communications station.
