This item comes from the estate of a long time Star Trek collector. Condition : The are two versions of the walkie talkies that Mego released. The first set was boxed and supposedly had better circuitry (for anyone that plans to open and use these), the second was carded. This is the boxed version. The walkie talkies are new and unused in their original package. The box has some creasing and scuffing on all six sides, but not anything really bad. There is also some discoloration and staining. There is some water damage on the right side of the top of the box that is also on the top of the right side of the box. It is not too bad though. Please look closely at all of the photos.

Star Trek Communicators, Model #652. One of the Communicators is missing the wiring for the battery (please see pictures). That Communicator has been untested and can be used for parts or possibly rewired. The other three Communicators have been tested and work. They do have a consistent static noise when someone is not talking. Please note these will not come with batteries. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

7 x7.5 x 2.5 inches. Box has wear, missing a flap and tears from age and use. Communicators are missing Star Trek stickers on front. I do not know if they work or not. I have no batteries. Battery compartments look clean. Items have some wear from age and use. Fresh from an upstate NY estate.

Beam me up Scotty! ” Vintage Mego Star Trek Communicators walkie talkies with “authentic sound. Overall, this Mego Star Trek toy set is in very good condition and would make an excellent display piece. There are a few small cosmetic flaws (see photos and condition description), and one communicator does not function properly. The device turns on and a very faint humming noise can be heard when the buttons are pushed, but that’s all that happens. The other one seems to function properly and will make an “authentic” noise that will annoy your significant other and animals when the button is pushed. The antennae are straight and move up and down freely. The communicator covers move properly and are not broken.
