VINTAGE rare Star Trek 1992 Franklin Mint diorama. The City on the Edge of Forever. For all the Star Trek collectors. The base has some scratches and the top has small chip on beam and stone. Other than that it is an awesome collectors item. A little dusty, needs to be cleaned.

Add this wonderful display piece to your collection today! Included is a high-quality stand and a screen accurate hand scanner. This is the same hand scanner that I sell separately, and it features a rubberized base and holographic decals just like the screen-used prop. It also features a medical display on the bottom to match the medical display of the tricorder. This tricorder is based on a common reference model, but the design has been extensively rebuilt for screen accuracy, function, and finish. The faceplate and light bezels have been redesigned to match the dimensions and proportions of the original series prop. The lights are shaped and positioned to match the on-screen appearance. The tricorder includes three magnetically attached interchangeable screens. These screens are printed in high resolution on vinyl labels of the highest quality. They are then covered in a waterproof vinyl laminate. Finally, they are assembled in my screen assembly and covered with a clear “lens” to replicate the look of glass. The following screens are included. A landing party science display. A medical display created specifically for this build. A “powered off” display for static display. The moiré label is my own design and uses the same optical method used on the show. It is also covered in a clear plastic “lens” to add reflectivity. Hidden magnets have been designed into the lower door so it stays open naturally without flopping shut, and the body is printed with a textured finish to replicate the surface of the original prop while eliminating visible layer lines.

Each tricorder is printed at a high infill density to give it realistic weight and rigidity. The body has been redesigned to accept stainless steel hinges rather than the plastic hinges commonly used on other replicas. This display stand is designed specifically for the Wand Company’s Landing Party Set of the classic Star Trek Tricorder, Communicator and Phaser. This display stand is designed to be used with the factory bases that comes with the Wand Company Props. The factory base rests in a secure cradle on this display stand and holds the three props securely. The display stand also features an acrylic backboard that is designed to hold the Tricorder’s strap securely in place. The included plaques displays information that is canon to Star Trek the Original Series, such as each items model, years of service and designer recognition. The base made of high gloss acrylic, hand made and finished. This display stand DOES NOT include the Tricorder, Communicator or Phaser replicas. The props shown in the photos is for demonstration purposes and illustrates how yours will look when displayed on this wonderful display stand. The stand measures roughly 18.5″ x 8.5″.
