It is a Japanese Exclusive and was never released for sale. Released under licence from Paramount in 2004. This measures 19cms x 15cms x 6 cms and is made of bakelite. This is bigger than the diamond select version and has a more solid feeling. Listed as used because it has been opened but the Tricorder shows no sign that it was used or displayed. Comes with original packaging and instructions (In Japanese / Google Lens is great for translating). Tested and lights and radio are confirmed to work. All photos are of the item you will receive. This prop size replica of the Tricorder from Star Trek, The Next Generation. It was never released for sale but came as part of a TNG DVD promotion. It was released exclusively in Japan under licence from Paramount in 2002. This has been used but has little sign of wear. Some small rub marks but nothing outstanding. Prototype Star Trek SPOCK Kaybee Toys Exclusive Toy Figure Final Engineering Pilot FEP SAMPLE #0 Playmates Toys Boxed MISB 1997. This is a Final Engineering Pilot FEP Factory Sample. This item was part of the Pre-Production process and is from a factory clearance. As you can see in the second picture it is numbered #0 it was used internally at the factory. There may also be differences to the figure and accessories from normal released production figures. This is quite common with FEP samples and the finishing of the figures on these sample is of a higher quality and crisper finish and look. Any wear to the box packaging is minimal.
