Star Trek TOS, Dr. McCoys MoPop-Museum-Copy, Medical Scanner Parts Kit. Round 2; Fits improved based on first issue feedback. McCoy How-To-Build Video 2023 r2. INCLUDES ALL THE PARTS SHOWN RED-BACKGROUND PHOTOS AND AS LISTED BELOW. Set Reference; Star Trek TOS “Who Mourns for Adonais” S2, E2; for red button med scanner, about 13 minutes into the episode. I HAVE PROVIDED SOME PHOTOS OF HOW-TO-MODIFY BUILDER-FURNISHED PLAYMATES-BRAND WORBLE SOUNDBOARD, YOU ARE THE PROP BUILDER! IMPROVED: The aluminum-spinner-cap motor-hole is over 9/32 deep (nominal) and will allow even more space for the Worble Soundboard, again you are the Prop Builder. This reproduction is expertly machined out of aluminum. The body is a hard anodized black aluminum and in exactly the nominal size and details of the MoPop Museum Displayed Prop. If you add sound do so (as a parallel circuit) keep all voltage at 4.5v. Google PARALLEL CIRCUIT if you need to. Also, some builders use 4-LR43 lithium (silver oxide) batteries for a 6v system. If you do this add a 20-Ohm resistor to one of the speaker wire legs to reduce crackling noises. THIS IS A COMPLETE PARTS KIT: Crafted of machined aluminum, acrylic tube and cap, one set of hologram stickers, pin-stripe red tape, the motor, three LR44 battery holder, and even the set-screw! INCLUDES THE MOTOR AND BRASS GEARBOX WITH MoPoP STYLE MACHINED INNER-ALUMINUM-TOPPER-CAP. Now has an exposed lathe-center hole just like the Set-Used prop and the motor-shaft to spinner-cap fit is a class 4, nice and snug to keep things concentric. Black Body hard anodized. 259 inches (for 7mm push button), 6 holes. 070 inches diameter are opposite for air release (breaks the vacuum and allows the cap to seat and remove) and. 335 diameter bottom hole allow for sound to escape under engraved bottom plate. Clear interior body cavity is 1.193 inches diameter x 1.043 high with the cap installed. Spacious for a sound board that. Body Cap; machined aluminum with 3/8 motor hole and O-Ring and O-ring groove for securing and removing top FROM BLACK BODY and a Groove for 1 inch outer fixed acrylic tube to seat into. The body cap may be snug HOWEVER adding some Vaseline or a drop of oil to the O-Ring will make the parts more easily assemble and disassemble. Bottom Plate; laser and machine engraved, suggest red-dots enamel, red-triangle enamel, white bars enamel, OR flip over for orthodox TOS buffs who prefer a plain bottom. Outer Acrylic 1 diameter and machined to correct height. Acrylic cap for 1″ diameter tube has been changed to a thinner 1/16″ thickness to more closely resemble the Set-Used MoPop original Prop. Inner acrylic 3/4 inch diameter and machined to correct height. BUILDER TIP: Paint the outside (or inside if you prefer) of the 3/4 inch spinner tube Tamiya Silver Leaf Color before the assembly to the inner aluminum spinner cap and motor. Custom Machined aluminum 3/4 inch inner spinner cap with motor boss and set screw included! Two Red pinstripes for 3/4 acrylic. Three Round 1 silver stickers for 3/4 diameter inner-acrylic-spinner. NEW Red top push button momentary switch suggest nut & washer be painted black by the builder, (I discard the washer). The Red plastic button takes paint very well. Motor is a DC 3.5 to 4.5 volts at the correct 300 RPM for Star Trek with brass gearbox and a flat spot on the shaft and, the motor comes with pre-soldered leads. The motor does project down into the clear inner cavity of the Black Anodized Body by. Inches (max) at the motor base diameter of 15/32 inches. Lithium Battery Holder (silver oxide) accepts; LR44 x 3 cells for. 4.5V set up or, 4-LR43 cells for a 6v set up. You are the prop builder.

Star Trek Prototype First Shot ANDORIAN + Parts Toy Action Figure Playmates 1997. You get ALL 3 items pictured! First Shot Prototype of Andorian Action Figure From Playmates Star Trek 1998 Toy Line. + Hardcopy Prototype Ultrasound Neutralizer. + First shot Prototype Ultrasound Neutralizer. The figure is a first shot in non production colours, completely unpainted, non sonic welded and no Playmates or Date stamp anywhere. It is shot in dark grey / almost black plastic, it is not painted in primer or anything like that. The painted chair is a painted hardcopy model. That is a good bit larger than the production one which is normal for hardcopy prototypes. The black/grey plastic chair is a first shot but the back is broken, but it’s still there and would be an easy fix see last two pictures. Please see picture of actual item you will receive. Looking for just the acrylic moon? NO; Lock-Plate, NO Phaser Shell, No Phaser. Eleven (11) Part Museum Accurate Kit Based on Median dimensions of Set-Used Midgrades that I have Had Access to. No Cast Prop-Metal parts in this listing aka… R98 Pewter of ; 98% Tin & Bismuth & Copper. All parts are machined aluminum or are otherwise, stamped aluminum where indicated, brass parts are real solid brass. Crispy is 1 ” x 1.30 ” stamped aluminum 32 gauge foil. The trigger stud and faux brass release pins both have shoulders on them so they slide into pilot holes and STOP at the correct depth. Package includes one of each as identified in the main listing photo. Multiple parts shown in photographs so you can see multiple views but you get just one of each. Phaser & Display are for reference and not included. You are the prop builder and you do the fitting, polishing, distressing and, so forth! There are other Package-Deals listed. Bob Stone was Star Trek’s machinist and made all the metal prop parts for all three seasons of the show. Parts were made to order for each episode as in those times (the 1960’s) as machining was done by hand and there was no advantage to making short runs (and no studio funding either). Each episode had a specific budget. According to Bob there was no magic drum of Phaser Nozzles and every job was a mad-dash to meet the filming deadlines. Because parts were made only to order, parts varied quite a bit. These variations can be seen in all the surviving examples of TOS hand props from Phaser to Communicators and Tricorders. Sometimes it was not that a new design was needed but rather that when one Wings it from a sketch, in a hurry using what is on-hand, you get an unintended-new-version of something (in the 1960’s the TV audience never could see that). Robert Archer and Bob Stone worked closely together so when the show was cancelled suddenly in season three, Robert Archer ended up with a nice collection of hand props. Richard Heimer made the molds for hand props. He also did all the casting and forming. This included; Vacuum form bucks, Fiberglass molds and, urethane molds. Again, according to him most work is done in the normal Hollywood maddening rush. He shared with his convention friends that there were many molds made from molds when the production schedule demanded this. He also shared that when the show ended he rescued the molds from being discarded by putting them in his garage. 1919 was the director of special effects for the show. He handled and repaired many of the props on-set. When the show was cancelled in season three he rescued many hand props and even some models from the scrap heap. Dick Ruben, Prop & Art Assistant on the show, got his Set-Used Klingon disruptor from James. Ruggs held on to his rather large Star Trek collection for many years. It is widely known that Greg Jein got his Holy-Grail Hero Phaser from James. In closing a nod to Mr. Ruck, a prop technician, who reported that he repaired some hand props hundreds of times as they were often damaged during filming. He had also shared that the fiberglass Mid-Grade’s, and some other props often used basswood strips between the seams to establish uniform dimensions.
