Great Image of the cast from one of the original Star Trek movies starring William Shatner and directed by Leonard Nimoy. This 1984 original 8X10 inch press photo is in very good condition and a great piece of memorabilia for any Trekkie. Publicity stills were taken on and off set and were created to help studios advertise films. They were sent to media outlets and included with press kits and made available at press screenings. They often included iconic scenes from films and have become very collectible pieces of film memorabilia. Hand framed in a black grained obeche wood frame. Mounted with high quality conservation Whitecore Arctic White mountboard and 2mm float glass with barrier board. The textured mountboard adds a luxurious touch. Frame size is 12 X 15 inches approx. Wonderfully atmospheric image from the third of the Star Trek films featuring Scotty, Chekov and Admiral Kirk. The 1984 film, directed by Leonard Nimoy, continues the story arc begun in The Wrath of Khan, picking up after Spock’s death and revealing that his katra-his living spirit-survives within Dr. This discovery pushes Kirk to defy Starfleet, steal the decommissioned USS Enterprise, and journey to the Genesis Planet in a desperate attempt to reunite Spock’s mind and body.
