This listing is for a rare Star Trek props lot that came directly from Greg Jein, the master model maker. The lot includes the original mold used for making the Cardassian Doorbell Door Panel that was used on the wall set design for Deep Space Nine. There is also a completed mold & 4 prop pieces that look very similar, but differ from the original mold. The prop is made of wood that looks to have some resin material on top. Jein built many models for DS9, along with many other Star Trek projects (as well as non-Star Trek projects). I’m just trying to be 100% transparent since I acquired these items, but did not know Jein. The room was owned by Jein. I did not get everything, but we have a lot of other Jein items listed so make sure to check those listings out too! There is a photo of a personal card from Jein to show provenance, this is not included with the listing. I can provide any additional provenance needed to show this came from Jein. This is a production used and original group of pieces of concept art and model making spec drawings. It was in use by Greg Jein for the creation of the models for Star Trek The Next Generation. This set is from the making of the Enterprise. These are printouts with hand written notations for edits and changes to the models for the series. It is from 1987. This listing is for a rare parts of lot of movie miniature model pieces that came directly from Greg Jein, the master model maker. Jein worked on a variety of Star Trek projects during his career. It was a big mix of random original paperwork from some projects he worked on. But there was also a HUGE mix of miscellaneous model parts. They were unfortunately quite unorganized and not complete. I took all of the molds Jein had and put together. It’s a miscellaneous lot. They are quite dirty, I tried cleaning them, but wasn’t sure the best way. The photos show measurements. I have no idea what these were used for, but I do know they came from Jein directly. I can provide any provenance needed to show this came from Jein, just ask.
