1976 ULTRA RARE Allen’s and Regina Star Trek Captains Log Cards. Complete 72 card set. Very limited manufacturing on this series. Very few full sets exist. Classic 1970 Sci fi don’t miss this one chance to get a complete set in one lot. Bargain priced rare set. Getting harder and harder to find lately in any condition in numbers. Collectors are recognising the high potential investing in Rare Vintage Bubble gum cards. This is one of the most desirable sets. This is the New Zealand issue made by Allen’s and Regina which is even more rare than Scanlens. This set easily distinguished from the Scanlens set as this set has a much darker blue on the card backs and has deeper red green and blues on the card photo fronts. So this about Scanlens Cards applies double. Manufactured in the 1970s for the very small market of Australian children collecting bubblegum cards, Scanlens cards from this era are extremely difficult to find in gradable condition. Only a few of each number have been discovered and this totals only a few hundred cards of this series existing in gradable condition. These are much much rarer and far more valuable than the Topps USA manufactured series where unopened boxes still exist today the bulk of the original very small quantities of Scanlens cards are generally a child’s collection played with handled – so few survive in gradable condition. As far as I know no unopened packs exist. So don’t miss this rare investment opportunity to own something especially ultra rare. Rare Australian made Scanlens cards are a great investment.
