The extra disc is under the factory seal, but outside of the box containing the rest of the discs. These bonus discs were only included with a select, limited number of box sets when they were first released for sale. This set is extremely rare! Even the regular 2004 set is now out of print, and this set with the bonus disc was out of print long before that! So, this is doubly rare! The season 2 bonus disc contains an exclusive featurette entitled Star Trek Favorite Moments. Celebrities, cast, crew, and fans recall their favorite memories from The Original Series. Included are cast members from Enterprise, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, and The Next Generation. This set includes the first-edition cardboard sleeve advertising the bonus disc.
