An original artisan handmade fine European silver modernist dome ring circa 1950. This ring makes an eye catching statement. The dome of the ring is inlaid with mixed metals in an abstract pattern adding to the drama of the ring. It is quite chunky with the diameter of the dome measuring 1 approximately. On the shank it is marked 835 for fine European silver. There is also a makers mark on the shank. This ring is completely handmade with no cast or machined components. It is most likely a one of a kind piece. The ring is an original mid century modernist ring not a recent manufacture. It is a size 6 1/4 US sizing. It is in good condition for it’s 70 years or so of age. Any marks on the dome are associated with the hand manufacture of this piece requiring soldering together intricate inlays of precious metal to create the patterns.
