This is an authentic original wall prop from the DS9 episode “Trials and Tribble-ations” in which the original series Enterprise is revisited through the magic of special effects. This is a wall plant-on seen in the background in several scenes of the DS9 episode. Interestingly, this prop was made to resemble one seen on the original TOS Enterprise in such episodes as “Day of the Dove” and Amok Time. The prop measures about 28 inches long and is quite heavy (about 9 pounds). Shows some wear and cracking/damage from age. A really nice prop from a groundbreaking episode. I acquired this item directly from Rick DiGiovanni who worked as a set decorator for seven years of DS9. Included with the item is a photocopy of a signed letter from him that states his job on the show.
