Dinky 358 Star Trek U. The Dinky 358 Star Trek U. Enterprise was produced from 1976- 1981 and was the first Dinky model licensed from NBC’S Star Trek TV Series, it was also the first Star Trek toy made from Die-Cast Metal, and Dinky had World Wide rights, it was soon followed by the 357 Klingon Battle Cruiser from the same series. The model featured opening bottom bay doors which acted as a stand, in the bay was a detachable plastic shuttle craft, b oth Ships were approximately the same size and both fired Photon Torpedo’s out of a front firing mechanism, imagined as white or yellow discs, included in the pack were 8 discs and a set of Decals. I always photograph my items from close up (not all sellers do this) and from different angles using a good quality camera as I feel that this provides buyers with a true and honest representation of the item that’s for sale, in addition, this item was photographed under bright white LED lights which tends to highlight any flaws an item may have, but as can be seen from these pictures this simply shows this item to be in “Near Mint Condition”. White Plastic area’s mint, no discolouration at all, which is not the case for most of these. All Original 8 discs present Unused. All Original Decals present and mint. Box is the Original box, not a reproduction, some warping to the plastic window, and slight creasing to the box in one or two places, this toy was actually from my husbands own personal collection, and has been stored away for years never with played with, so to be honest it’s actually Brand New, though I have put’Used’ only because it’s preowned.
