The item is brand new (MISB) and unopened, new and in excellent condition with only minor signs of shelf life, wear, etc. Comes with original batteries which were not tested. These items should represent great investments and have been tracking upwards for a number of years and will hopefully continue to do so. Many of the post 1995 Star Trek items were produced in much smaller quanitites that the originals and are now beginning to appreciate in value significantly.
